Borussia Dortmund veteran Mats Hummels was once again asked about his future at the pre-match press conference ahead of Tuesday's Champions League semifinal return leg against Paris Saint-Germain.

And as the 35-year-old pointed out after the first leg in Dortmund, he simply hasn't made a decision on whether to extend his expiring contract.

"I said early on that I wanted to decide very late. The club agreed to that," Hummels said.

He went on to explain that his decision will depend on two main factors - the sporting aspect and his personal life.

“I want to see what signals my body gives me. There also has to be a balance with my son, who is going to school in the summer.”

According to Bild, a departure seems the most likely option at the moment, but a decision will probably not be made before the end of the season.

If he does decide to leave, Hummels will join another veteran Borussia Dortmund player, Marco Reus, out the exit door.
