Bayern Munich completed their final training session on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League meeting with Arsenal, with a few notable absentees.

According to AZ, Joshua Kimmich missed the session for private reasons. However, the 31-year-old midfielder is still expected to be available for Wednesday night’s encounter.

As expected, Jamal Musiala was also absent as he continues his recovery from a thigh problem.

Meanwhile, Manuel Neuer took part in training and looks set to return to the starting XI after missing Bayern’s last two games with a foot problem, provided he suffers no further setbacks.

Bayern assistant coach Aaron Danks oversaw the session, with head coach Vincent Kompany sitting out due to a viral infection.

An update on the Belgian’s condition is expected at this afternoon’s pre-match press conference, which Danks will also lead.
