DFB confirms three-match ban for Andrich
The German FA confirmed a three match suspension for Leverkusen's Robert Andrich on Monday evening
Some 28 minutes after opening his account for his new club, 26-year-old midfielder Robert Andrich had to leave the pitch on a straight red. After reviewing Andrich's foul on Stuttgart's Tanguy Coulibaly from Sunday's fixture, the DFB confirmed a three-match-suspension for the Potsdam native on Monday.
The ban renders Andrich unavailable for three coming league fixtures against Mainz, Bielefeld, and Bayern. Andrich will have to pay a fine of €15,000 in addition to serving the suspension.
