VfB Stuttgart have suffered another coronavirus blow as Robert Massimo has become the latest player from 'Die Schwaben' to test positive.

As a result of this, the 20-year-old has left the Germany U21 camp to enter quarantine, the German Football Association (DFB) revealed on Friday.

"Due to the hygiene precautions already in place, this will not affect the team's upcoming game against Hungary in Szeged," said a statement.

Massimo's positive test comes after Stuttgart announced that Erik Thommy, Waldemar Anton and Fabian Bredlow have been placed in quarantine due to COVID-19.
