Yet another Stuttgart player has now tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Florian Müller now joins Erik Thommy, Waldemar Anton, Roberto Massimo, and Fabian Bredlow in having a case of the virus confirmed in the past week.

The club confirmed the positive test on Monday afternoon. Without providing any information on the state of the net-minder's current state, the team did note that Müller had been vaccinated.

"We have significantly increased the number of tests after the first positive last week and have intensified the hygiene regulations around training operations," sporting director Sven Mislintat noted in a statement, "We hope that these measures will lead to no further positive cases being added in the coming days."

Müller's positive test, combined with that of Bredlow, may potentially leave the team without their first and second string keepers this weekend. Stuttgart's third-keeper is 20-year-old Florian Schock.
