Borussia Dortmund fell to an embarrassing defeat this evening as they were thrashed 4-0 by Ajax in the Champions League.

The Dutch home side were dominant from start to finish and deservedly found themselves 2-0 up at the break thanks to a Marco Reus own goal and a well-taken goal from Daley Blind.

Things went from bad to worse for Marco Rose's troops after the break, with Antony and Sebastien Haller adding to the scoreline for Ajax.

Elsewhere, RB Leipzig were surprisingly leading 2-1 away against Paris Saint-Germain, but the home side turned the game around and won 3-2 thanks to a Lionel Messi brace.
