RB Leipzig were 2-1 up in the second half of last night's Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain at Parc des Princes, but ended up losing 3-2.
The defeat was a bitter pill to swallow for Nordi Mukiele, who scored Leipzig's second goal.
"We played well. I'm proud of what we did. We didn't deserve to lose," Mukiele told UEFA.com.
"There were situations we could have done better. They had three big chances and put them away. It's a shame, but there are lots of positives."
RB Leipzig coach Jesse Marsch said he found it "difficult to accept the result".
"We had the game in hand at 2-1, they weren’t dangerous at the time," said the Leipzig boss.
"We have to take things step by step. We mustn't make mistakes in this competition if we want to survive."
Leipzig are rock bottom of Group A after losing their first three games of the group stages.
