Klostermann suffers muscle tear in PSG match
RB Leipzig fullback Lukas Klostermann will almost certainly be unavailable for the weekend after suffering a muscle tear in last night's UEFA Champions' League loss.
The intense five-goal affair at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday night actually claimed a pair of casualties for visiting RB Leipzig. Midfielder Amadou Haidara had to be subbed off in the 62nd after taking a knock. Eight minutes after that, defender Lukas Klostermann had to check out with a muscle tear.
In his post-match interview, RB head-coach Jesse Marsch revealed that Klostermann's injury was potentially serious. A muscle tear, even a minor one, will surely sideline the German national team player this weekend against SpVgg Greuther Fürth.
More examinations are scheduled back at the club's medical facility in Germany. Marsch also confirmed that Haidara's substitution was also related to a thigh knock, but offered no further elaboration after the match.
