Jesse Marsch: André Silva needs more crosses

Jesse Marsch believes RB Leipzig need to put more crosses in to get the most out of André Silva.
RB Leipzig coach Jesse Marsch has backed André Silva to rediscover his scoring touch after a difficult start to life at Red Bull Arena.

Silva found the net 29 times in 34 games for Frankfurt last season, but has scored just three goals in 14 appearances following his summer switch to Leipzig.

Marsch, however, is certain the goals will start flowing eventually, pointing out that the whole team want to help Silva.

"He works hard every day. At the same time, the group is very committed to helping André," Marsch told reporters ahead of the Saturday's clash with Silva's former club Eintracht Frankfurt.

"He has scored two goals in his last four games. He's making progress," added the Leipzig coach.

"It's important for us to find the right position for André. He's a penalty area striker and needs more crosses. We talked in group about his movement and how we can find him better."
