Seoane praises record-breaking Bundesliga debutants Bravo and Sertdemir

Bayer Leverkusen coach Gerardo Seoane sung the praises of highly-rated youngsters Zidan Sertdemir and Iker Bravo after they made their Bundesliga debuts against Hertha BSC yesterday.
At the age of 16 years and 276 days, Zidan Sertdemir became the youngest Bundesliga debutant in Bayer Leverkusen's history when he was subbed on towards the end of Sunday's 1-1 draw with Hertha BSC.

Spanish youngster Iker Bravo, who is 22 days older than his Danish teammate, had already come on to make his debut earlier in the second half, meaning 'Die Werkself' had two 16-year-old's on the pitch at the same time.

"The debuts of Sertdemir and Bravo are the reward for hard work," Leverkusen coach Geardo Seoane told reporters after the game.

"It takes a lot of work to get to the very top. Not just for the players, but also for their families. It's very gratifying."
