Marcel Sabitzer has hinted that he's not getting the support he needs to find his best form at Bayern München.

The 27-year-old midfielder has started just two games since his €15 million switch from RB Leipzig in the summer.

And speaking in a recent interview while on international duty with Austria, Sabitzer seemed to indicate that he would like more support from his club.

"In the situation I'm in, playing time is the most important thing right now," Sabitzer told reporters.

"When I'm here, I feel the confidence, assurance, that I'm needed. If I feel and sense that, I can put in my best performances.

"Everyone needs confidence and assurance to be able to perform as well as possible."
