RB Leipzig put timeframe on Yussuf Poulsen's injury return

Yussuf Poulsen will be out for around four weeks due to a calf injury.

RB Leipzig have confirmed that Yussuf Poulsen will be sidelined for weeks after sustaining a calf injury on international break for Denmark.

The Danish international will be out for around four weeks.

"Yussi's injury is not good for us, of course," said RB Leipzig coach Jesse Marsch ahead of Saturday's Bundesliga game against Hoffenheim.

"For me, he is currently in the best shape of his career. But he is still young and I am sure he will come back quickly and healthy."

The 27-year-old has scored in each of his last three Bundesliga games.
