Frankfurt win race to sign HSV youngster

HSV winger Faride Alidou is set to join Eintracht Frankfurt.
Eintracht Frankfurt have agreed a deal to sign Faride Alidou from Hamburger SV, according to Bild.

Alidou's agent, Dieter Gudel, has confirmed that the 20-year-old winger will make the switch to Frankfurt next summer at the latest.

Since the youngster is out of contract at the end of the season, HSV may look to cash in on him in January.

According to reports, Hertha BSC, Mainz and Gladbach showed interest in Alidou as well.

The 20-year-old has featured 9 times in the 2. Bundesliga this season, racking up two goals and four assists.
