Matthias Ginter took to Instagram yesterday to declare that he will not be extending his contract with Gladbach, which expires at the end of the season.

According to Bild, Ginter is far from the only Gladbach player heading for the exit door at Borussia-Park, with Keanan Bennetts, Hannes Wolf, Marcus Thuram, Denis Zakaria, Alassane Pléa and Laszlo Benes looking likely to leave as well.

Bennetts and Wolf are no longer part of Gladbach coach Adi Hütter's plans, per the German tabloid, who claims the latter has attracted interest from Trabzonspor, Celtic and Rapid Wien.

Thuram has also put up for sale and could leave in January. An injury ruined the French forward's €37 million move to Inter last summer, but Gladbach can't command a comparable fee now following a dip in form.

Like Ginter, Zakaria has just six months left on his current deal and doesn't want to sign an extension. Accordingly, Gladbach could cash in on him in January, with Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and AS Roma said to be interested.

Pléa and Bénes will be allowed to leave if appropriate offers are made, Bild claims.
