Borussia Mönchengladbach have extended the contract of 21-year-old central defender Jordan Beyer.

Beyer, who has come through the youth ranks at Borussia-Park, has put pen to paper on a contract until 2026.

"We're delighted that Jordan has signed a new contract," commented Gladbach sporting director Max Eberl.

"He's a real defensive talent and had earned a place in the side until his injury. We’re glad to have him back on the training ground again."

Beyer featured seven times for Gladbach before sustaining a muscle injury that is still keeping him out.
