Hoffenheim midfielder tests positive for COVID-19
Hoffenheim have announced that Florian Grillitsch has returned a positive test for COVID-19.
Florian Grillitsch missed Hoffenheim's first Bundesliga game of 2022 against Augsburg on Saturday as he sat out with illness.
The Bundesliga outfit have since confirmed that the 26-year-old has tested positive for COVID-19.
"After an initial Covid test was negative, a retest on Sunday showed a positive result," the club said in a statement.
The 26-year-old has made 12 appearances for Hoffenheim this season.
