Two clubs from the English Premier League want to sign Matthias Ginter this month, according to Kicker.

The German football magazine don't mention the clubs understood to be interested, but Newcastle United and West Ham have previously been linked with Ginter this month.

Ginter is out of contract in the summer and has announced that he will not be signing a new deal. Therefore, Gladbach might want to cash in on him this month.

The 27-year-old centre-back was dropped from the starting eleven for Saturday's 1-2 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen.

Gladbach have already signed a replacement for him as they have brought in Marvin Friedrich from Union Berlin.
