Report: Dortmund opt to loan Knauff out to Frankfurt

Sky Germany currently reports that Borussia Dortmund youth prospect Ansgar Knauff's loan to Eintracht Frankfurt will be confirmed shortly.
A very old and stale transfer rumor suddenly finds new life this evening with Sky's German affiliate reporting that Ansgar Knauff is set to don an SGE tricot through the end of the season. Previous rumors involving a loan for the 20-year-old attacker, who made the most of the chance BVB interim trainer Edin Terzic gave him for the first team last spring, essentially when cold when Eintracht Frankfurt's newly rebuilt attacking corps began to find their own stride.

A move now most likely relates to the fact that Oliver Glasner and then SGE may wish to have someone else other than Timothy Chandler serve on the right wing opposite Filip Kostic. Options are thin at this position, with Erik Durm, Danny da Costa, and Almamy Touré not necessarily working out so well in the role.
