Rose gives brief injury update on Haaland

Borussia Dortmund coach Marco Rose offered a brief injury update on Erling Haaland after Saturday's win over Hoffenheim.
Erling Haaland was forced off during the second half of Borussia Dortmund's 3-2 victory over Hoffenheim today.

Speaking shortly after the game, Dortmund coach Marco Rose confirmed that the Norwegian international complained of an adductor problem.

"He felt something in his adductor. We have to wait and see," Rose told Sky after the game.

At the post-match press conference, the BVB coach was unable to say how bad Haaland's injury is.

"I can't say anything about Erling yet. We need to examine him first."

In addition to Haaland, Manuel Akanji was forced off with an injury, with the centre-back picking up a knee problem.

"The break is not inconvenient for us. A few of the guys might need treatment," said Rose ahead of the upcoming break in the Bundesliga.

In their next game, Dortmund face Bayer Leverkusen at home on February 6.
