Official: Wolfsburg bid farewell to longest-serving player Guilavogui
Former VfL Wolfsburg captain Joshua Guilavogui's loan to FC Girondins Bordeaux was confirmed on Sunday evening.

Guilavogui himself is quoted as saying that the decision to leave was "a tough one" and further notes that he and his family shall miss the city and club where "they always felt at home". Guilavogui concludes by saying the Wolfsburg "shall always have a special place in his heart."
For their part, the northern Autostadt club thanks the former captain for his eight years of service and wishes the 2014/15 DFB Pokal winner all the best in his return to his homeland.
