Confirmed: Stuttgart obtain Portuguese attacker on extended loan

VfB Stuttgart officially introduced their new Portuguese striker on Sunday evening.

As reported upon earlier, the VfB Stuttgart Swabians will obtain another highly intriguing attacking prospect on a long-term loan. Nineteen-year-old Tiago Barreiros de Melo Tomás (who simply goes by the moniker "Tiago Tomas" will join the VfB on an extended loan through the end of the 2022/23 season.

Stuttgart confirmed the existence of a purchase clause in the deal. The youngster has a current estimated market value of €5 million in the latest transfermarkt listings. After scoring six goals across all competitions for Sporting CP last year, Tomas has mostly been used off the bench this season.
