Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Roman Bürki's proposed move to Lorient has collapsed, according to Blick and Sky.

The two clubs had agreed a loan deal, but Bürki ultimately turned down the chance to join the French side.

A few days ago, the 31-year-old was said to be close to joining Galatasaray, but that move didn't happen either.

Bürki is currently the third-choice goalkeeper at Dortmund, having fallen behind Marwin Hitz and first-choice goalkeeper Gregor Kobel in the pecking order.

He hasn't made a single appearance this season.
