Glasner guarantees Hinteregger starting place, says Kostic is not at 100 percent

Eintracht Frankfurt coach Oliver Glasner has made it clear that Martin Hinteregger will start against Wolfsburg. Filip Kostic is ready to play again, although he's not at 100 percent.

Martin Hinteregger is in line to return to the starting eleven when Eintracht Frankfurt face VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga tomorrow.

Hinteregger has started on the bench in two of Frankfurt's last three games, but with Makoto Hasebe ruled out, the 29-year-old will get his chance against Wolfsburg.

"Hinteregger will definitely play," said Frankfurt coach Oliver Glasner at a press conference today.

"He was very committed this week. Despite consistently struggling with injuries, he still put himself at the service of the team. He enjoys full confidence from all sides."

Meanwhile, Filip Kostic will need some time to get up to full speed after recovering from illness.

"Filip can't be at 100 percent yet. But even a Kostic at 80 percent can help us. He has many qualities that are good for us," said Glasner.

Christopher Lenz, who filled in for Kostic last week, could earn another start despite the Serbian international's return to the squad.

"I can basically imagine starting with Kostic and Lenz. We have several considerations," explained the Frankfurt coach.
