Kampl in talks over new Leipzig deal
Kevin Kampl has pledged his future to RB Lepzig and revealed that he is talks with the club regarding a new contract.
Kevin Kampl has revealed he's in dialogue with RB Leipzig about extending his contract, which expires in 2023.
"There is no pressure. But of course I would like to stay," Kampl said in an interview with Kicker.
"We are in exchange. I have received good signals. There's actually nothing that speaks against it," said the midfielder, who added that he would "love to stay".
Leipzig put €20 million on the table to sign 31-year-old Kampl from Borussia Dortmund in 2017.
