Hoffenheim confirm Nordtveit departure

Hoffenheim have confirmed the impending departure of Håvard Nordtveit.

Håvard Nordtveit will leave Hoffenheim on a free transfer when his contract expires this summer, the Bundesliga outfit have confirmed today.

"'Howie' is an outstanding personality, an absolute team player and a fundamentally positive character," said Hoffenheim director of professional football Alexander Rosen.

The 31-year-old Norwegian defender joined Hoffenheim from West Ham in 2017.

He has made 71 appearances for the club, scoring a goal and providing two assists.
