Bayern München took another step towards winning their tenth successive Bundesliga title by beating relegation-threatened Arminia Bielefeld 3-0 away from home today.

Stefan Ortega kept out a header from Robert Lewandowski with an amazing save nine minutes into the game, but the Bielefeld goalkeeper was left with no chance one minute later as the ball hit Jacob Barrett Laursen and went into the net.

The hosts thought they had equalised in the 44th minute when Masaya Okugawa lifted the ball over Manuel Neuer and into the net, but the goal was ruled out after a VAR review.

Bayern then went up at the other end to double the lead instead, with Serge Gnabry first-timing a shot past Ortega after an excellent lofted pass from Kimmich.

Second-half substitute Jamal Musiala sealed the deal with five minutes left, smashing the ball into the net after being set up by Lewandowski.

The Bavarians are now nine points clear of Borussia Dortmund, meaning they can clinch the title if they beat their black and yellow arch-rivals next week.

At the other end of the table, Bielefeld remain 17th, two points behind VfB Stuttgart in the relegation play-off spot.
