VfL Wolfsburg coach Florian Kohfeldt doesn't have to fear for his job despite a poor run of form.

"I assume that we will stay in the division and go into the coming season in this constellation," Wolfsburg managing director for sport Jörg Schmadtke told Kicker.

"We still need points. I hope and think that the team will show a reaction."

After being drubbed 6-1 by Borussia Dortmund last Saturday – their fourth loss in their last five Bundesliga games – Wolfsburg sit 13th, six points clear of VfB Stuttgart in the relegation play-off spot with four games left to play this season.
