Hoffenheim might have to manage without Chris Richards and captain Benjamin Hübner for the rest of this season.

Richards, who is on loan at Bayern until the end of the 2021/22 campaign, was forced off with a thigh injury in last week's 0-0 draw with Greuther Fürth.

According to Kicker, the 22-year-old central defender is unlikely to be fit for any of Hoffenheim's remaining four games this season.

The same applies for Benjamin Hübner, who hasn't been in team training for weeks after first getting infected with COVID-19 and since injuring his back.

On the bright side for Hoffenheim, Stefan Posch could be fit for Saturday's game against Eintracht Frankfurt after picking up a knock against Fürth.
