Confirmed: Leitl to leave Greuther Fürth

Greuther Fürth have confirmed reports that head coach Stefan Leitl will depart the club this summer.
Greuther Fürth have confirmed that head coach Stefan Leitl and his assistant Andre Mijatovic have informed the club that the wish to leave at the end of the season.

"We will now clarify all formalities," said Greuther Fürth managing director for sport Rachid Azzouzi in a statement.

"Regardless, we thank both for their commitment and look back on a very successful three and a half years overall.

"We will take care of all the necessary steps now with the necessary prudence."

According to reports, Hannover 96 will activate a release clause in Leitl's to bring the coach to HDI-Arena.
