Thorgan Hazard reveals bet with his brother Eden

Thorgan Hazard reveals he makes a bet with his brother, Chelsea's Eden Hazard, each season.
Borussia Mönchengladbach star Thorgan Hazard says he makes a yearly bet with his brother, Chelsea's Eden Hazard, on who will score the most goals between them during each season.

Their younger brother, Kylian Hazard, who is currently on loan at Belgian side Cercle Brugge from Chelsea, could eventually be included in the bet as well.

"There has been a kind of competition between us for years. If you score the fewest goals, you have to invite the other to dinner at the end of the season. Last weekend, our brother Kylian scored for Cercle Brugge, so maybe he wants to be part of it as well," Thorgan Hazard told Sportbuzzer.

So far, Thorgan and Eden Hazard have exactly the same record this season as they have both scored seven goals in 10 league appearances for their respective clubs.

Thorgan Hazard, whose contract runs out in 2020, joined Gladbach from Chelsea in 2014 - initially on loan and later on a permanent deal - and has been linked with a return to England.

However, when asked if he can imagine extending his contract with Gladbach, he said that's a real possibility:

"That is quite possible. As I have said, I feel comfortable at Gladbach. I have been asked if I'm tempted by the Premier League, and I answered that it's a great league. But so are the Serie A, the Primera Division and the Bundesliga. The Premier League seems to receive the most attention in Belgium, but that's because there are many Belgian players there," he said.
