Several reports: Nkunku wants to leave RB Leipzig
L'Equipe and Bild claim that Christopher Nkunku wants to leave RB Leipzig at the end of the season.
Christopher Nkunku is looking to leave RB Leipzig in the summer, according to several reports.
Both L'Equipe and Bild are reporting that the Frenchman is keen on taking the next step at the end of the season.
Nkunku's impressive performances this season has seen him linked with a host of European top clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, FC Bayern, AC Milan and Manchester United.
However, Leipzig are hopeful of holding on to their prized asset, who is under contract until 2024, with reports claiming that the club are ready to offer the 24-year-old a lucrative new deal that will see his annual wages increase from €3 million to €8 million.
Club CEO Oliver Mintzlaff told ARD last month:
"I've said it many times, and I'm happy to say it again: Nkunku will still be our player in the coming season."
However, when confronted with the statement by Sky Germany, he later noted that "in football, nobody is basically unsaleable."
