Five coaches mentioned as candidates to replace Kohfeldt

Matthias Jaissle, Sandro Schwarz, Bruno Labbadia, Daniel Farke and Adi Hütter are being touted as possible candidates to succeed Florian Kohfeldt as Wolfsburg coach.
Matthias Jaissle (RB Salzburg), Sandro Schwarz (Dinamo Moscow), Bruno Labbadia and Daniel Farke (both unemployed) have been lined up as candidates to replace Florian Kohfeldt as Wolfsburg coach, according to Kicker.

Bild previously mentioned Adi Hütter, who recently lost his job as Gladbach, as a possible option.

Wolfsburg's preferred option is probably Jaissle, with 'Die Wölfe' said to be "very impressed" with the Salzburg coach. But, apparently, the 34-year-old doesn't want to leave Salzburg this summer.

A return of Labbadia, who coached Wolfsburg from February 2018 to June 2019, is probably only conceivable if managing director for sport Jörg Schmadtke leaves the club first, as the two developed a strained relationship in the past.
