FC Torino have decided not to turn Josip Brekalo's loan from VfL Wolfsbug into a permanent transfer, according to Kicker.

In principle, Torino would have liked to keep Brekalo, but the Croatian winger didn't want to stay with the Italians.

The 23-year-old will now be heading back to Wolfsburg, but he has no intent of staying there.

Per Kicker, Brekalo prefers a move to Spain, but he has also been linked with Eintracht Frankfurt.

He scored seven goals and provided two assists in 31 Serie A games during the 2021/22 season.
