Lotka a doubt for Hertha's play-off clash with HSV, Selke and Dardai ruled out

Hertha BSC coach Felix Magath has provided a squad update ahead of his side's relegation play-off game against Hamburger SV on Thursday.
Marcel Lotka is a doubt for Hertha BSC's relegation play-off first leg against Hamburger SV tomorrow evening due to a nasal bone fracture.

Should he miss out, 23-year-old Dane Oliver Christensen will be in goal for the first time in a Hertha shirt.

"Marcel Lotka is still undergoing medial tests - we'll decide if he can play tomorrow after those tests finish. If he does miss out, then 'Olli' Christensen is more than ready to play," said Hertha coach Felix Magath at a press conference today, at which he confirmed that Davie Selke and Marton Dardai will definitely miss out due to injuries.

Hertha also have to manage without Santiago Ascacibar, as the Argentine midfielder is suspended.

"I've been a big fan of Santi Ascacíbar since coming here. He's always played well, but he's suspended tomorrow. We're able to deal with his absence, though," said Magath.
