Official: Werder land English left-back
Lee Buchanan has joined Werder Bremen from Derby County.

"We have followed Lee's development over a longer period of time. He is a fast, strong two-way defender with 70 Championship games under his belt. who already brings the experience of 70 Championship games. We are pleased that we were able to convince him of the sporting prospects at Werder," said Werder boss Clemens Fritz.
"Werder Bremen is still a big name in Europe, even if the last few years were not quite as successful," added Buchanan.
"I'm really looking forward to playing for Werder, the fans and the Bundesliga. It's one of the top leagues in Europe."
