Eighteen-year-old forward Alexis Tibidi unexpectedly became one of the youth prospects VfB Stuttgart trainer Pellegrino Matarazzo had to call upon regularly last season in order to fill places on his injury-ravaged squad. The youngster ended up making 18 appearances and two starts in the league for the Swabians.

Oftentimes praised by Matarazzo as a remarkably mature prospect who answered the call, there were also reports that the teenager remained a bit too raw. Some sources suggested that there had been at least one training ground dust up. Whether or not there was any truth in these rumors, a loan-out seemed a good option for the budding talent.

Two reliable sources now report that the Württembergers have found a highly intriguing destination for Tibidi. Germany's Sport Bild and Italian transfer expert Gianluca di Marzio now report that the player is headed over to Rheindorf Altach in the Austrian Bundesliga.

This particular Austrian will be watched closely by German footballing enthusiasts as it constituters the first stop in the coaching career of German footballing legend Miroslav Klose. After struggling with some personal health problems that delayed his desire to begin this next phase of his career, Klose was appointed Altach trainer on June 17th.
