Despite having an offer recently rejected, Thiemo Müller of German footballing magazine Kicker reports that London's Brentford FC have actually tendered a second offer to Freiburg in pursuit of the service of Germany U21 striker Kevin Schade. The much-touted youth prospect currently maintains an estimated market worth of €7 million. If reports about the initial offer are to believed, the Bees have presumably increased their €15 million priceline.

Whether or not there exists some sort of refusal threshold for the Breisgauer remains to be seen. Embedded with the team at training camp, Müller does note that the tendency in the club's front office remains firmly against a potential sale. Müller spoke to SCF administrator Klemens Hartenbach, who dismissed any transfer rumors involving the 20-year-old to be "not at a serious stage".

A significantly cheaper option for the last year's 13th place EPL finisher might be VfL Wolfsburg striker Omar Marmoush. The Egyptian international currently works in the VfL camp after spending last season on-loan at VfB Stuttgart. Germany's green company team desperately needs to reduce its 35-man-roster; by far the most bloated of all Bundesliga clubs.

Thomas Hiete, the Kicker reporter embedded in Wolfsburg's training camp, reports that Brentford have inquired about the 23-year-old. After back-to-back loan-outs, Marmoush cannot actually be loaned out a third time as he enters the final year of his current contract.

After scoring three goals and five assists in Swabia last season, Marmoush's estimated market value has risen from €75,000 to €6 million in the latest transfermarkt listings.
