Sky Report: Suarez offered up to Dortmund as potential Haller replacement

Though no other German footballing media sources are corroborating the rumor at present, Sky Germany reports that Borussia Dortmund have been contacted by those representing Uruguayan legend Luis Suarez about a potential short-term contract.
In the wake of Sebastian Haller's testicular cancer diagnosis, title challengers Borussia Dortmund will certainly have to think about near-t0-medium term replacements in the attacking corps. Speaking to reporters for the first time since the news broke late Monday, BVB head-coach Edin Terzic remarked that no one at the club had given much thought to the "sporting issues associated with the loss".

For whatever it may be worth, Sky Germany currently reports that the BVB have been offered Uruguayan international Luis Suarez. The 35-year-old, still valued at about €8 million, is available to any club on a free transfer after Atletico Madrid declined to renew his contract this season.

Suarez is thought to wish to continue his career and remain in Europe. The veteran did net 13 goals and register three assists for Los Colcheneros last season. He counts as one of the most valuable non-contracted players available on the global market.
