Report: Augsburg table bid for Mainz goalkeeper

Kicker reports that Augsburg have made an offer for Mainz's Finn Dahmen.

FC Augsburg are apparently looking to bring in a new goalkeeper before the transfer window closes.

According to Kicker, Augsburg have made an offer for Mainz's second-choice gloveman, Finn Dahmen, with the 24-year-old expected to replace Rafael Gikiewicz as the club's number one.

Dahmen is behind Robin Zentner in the pecking order at MEWA Arena and is said to have turned down the chance to extend his contract beyond 2023 with the hope of finding more playing time elsewhere.

Kicker doesn't the negotiations to be concluded quickly, but both clubs are confident of finding an agreement, per the report.
