Borussia Mönchengladbach could be without Ramy Bensebaini and Stefan Lainer for Saturday's clash with Bayern München.

Ramy Bensebaini could miss Gladbach's top-of-the-table clash against Bayern München due to illness.

"Ramy has flu symptoms. He's not doing so well. We have to wait and see how it looks until Saturday," revealed Gladbach coach Daniel Farke yesterday.

Stefan Lainer is also in danger of missing the game, as he is struggling with a thigh issue.

"It's very painful. We have to wait and see with him. We still have a little time. He got an injection today, which actually always helps him quickly."

Having started all three of Gladbach's Bundesliga games, Bensebaini could be replaced by Luca Netz if he doesn't feel well enough to play.

Lainer has been behind Joe Scally in the pecking order at right-back and has played just 20 minutes of football so far this season.
