Report: Ricardo Pepi nearing move to the Netherlands
Sky Germany reports that Augsburg and United States striker Ricardo Pepi is close to joining Groningen in the Dutch Eredivisie.
Augsburg's record signing, Ricardo Pepi, could head out the exit door before the transfer window closes tomorrow.
According to Sky Germany, the 19-year-old American striker is close to a loan move to Groningen, with "some details" still left to be clarified.
Pepi has struggled to make his breakthrough in Germany after his €16.36 million move from FC Dallas in January.
He has been limited to 108 minutes of football this season, and Augsburg have just boosted their attacking options further with the signing of 24-year-old forward Mergim Berisha on loan from Fenerbahce.
