Glasner slams team's effort following loss: "Slow, ponderous, and full of mistakes."

Eintracht Frankfurt trainer Oliver Glasner didn't mince words when discussing his team's performance after their second straight defeat.

One week removed from the uplifting 4-0 thrashing of RB Leipzig, Germany's Adler from the Rhein-Main have suddenly lost two on the spin. A rather embarrassing 0-3 scoreline in the Champions' League midweek was mostly dismissed by both players and coach as a misleading aberration. This was not the case on Saturday.

After watching his team look sleepy and uninspired for long stretches against Wolfsburg, SGE trainer Oliver Glasner didn't see any need to sugarcoat the situation. The Eintracht gaffer simply couldn't get behind both his team's cumbersome build-up play and set-piece defending on the game's lone goal.

"I am very disappointed with our performance," Glasner told his Sky interviewer, "Slow, ponderous, and full of mistakes. Then we lose not for the first time because of a set-piece goal. We will have to take a long look in the mirror tomorrow and have clear words about this."
