Bayern München coach Julian Nagelsmann has provided a squad update ahead of Saturday's Bundesliga clash with Augsburg.

"Lucas is out and will be so for several weeks. 'King' [Coman] and Bouna [Sarr] are not available either," Nagelsmann told reporters.

Despite picking up knocks in Tuesday's 2-0 win over FC Barcelona, French duo Dayot Upamecano and Benjamin Pavard are ready to play.

"With Upamecano, it's looking good. He took a knock to his knee, but it's nothing dramatic. He didn't train yesterday, although he could have, and he will be able to take part in our final training today. The same goes for Benjamin Pavard. He's fully fit too," said Nagelsmann.

Joshua Kimmich has started every game for Bayern so far this season and is in line to make the starting line-up again tomorrow.

"I assume that he will start tomorrow, even though he has played all the games so far. That is, after all, his claim and his desire to always play. You can't respond to every wish, but basically I don't like to do without him if it's physically possible for him to play," said Nagelsmann, who is yet to make a decision on whether Leon Goretzka or Marcel Sabitzer will start alongside Kimmich.

Asked if Goretzka will start tomorrow after he replaced Sabitzer at the break of the Barcelona game, Nagelsmann said:

"I haven't made a decision on all positions yet. Leon Goretzka did well."

Noussair Mazraoui, who was subbed on in place of Pavard in mid-week, will definitely start.

"He had good attacking moments, but also defended well. He has done exceptionally well and has more confidence in himself. He will start tomorrow and can show what he's capable of."
