After a horrific weekend loss to lowly Bochum, Frankfurt are on the road once again midweek. Both sides will be hoping to put something on the scoresheet after last week's 0-0 affair.

It was a really eye-opening defeat on Saturday, as Frankfurt fell to the worst team in the Bundesliga 3-0. They looked lifeless, especially in the second half and coach Oliver Glasner took responsibility after the game:

"It is a bitter defeat for which I take 100 percent responsibility with my lineup and my system change."

Yet, Frankfurt still sit a reasonable 8th in the Bundesliga and are tied on points with Tottenham in their Champions League group that should come down to the final matchday. Randal Kolo Muani, who served a league suspension this weekend, will luckily return to the pitch on Wednesday.

The Eagles will depend on creativity from veteran Mario Götze in the attacking midfield, who should receive help from the likes of Daichi Kamada and Jesper Lindstrøm. If Glasner does decide to return to a back three, 38-year-old Makoto Hasebe, who's been surprisingly brilliant to start the season, will slot in at center-back.

Tottenham are off to a decent start in the league, but some fans are upset with manager Antonio Conte's unexciting style of play. In a Champions League group that does not have one of the "big guns", Tottenham are definitely expecting more of themselves with just one win through three matches.

Lucas Moura and Dejan Kulusevski are unlikely to make a return on Wednesday. Almamy Toure, Aurelio Buta and Jerome Onguene are all out with injuries for Glasner's side.
