Eintracht Frankfurt have reacted to reports suggesting that Rafael Borré is looking to leave the club in January.

Spanish publication AS has claimed that the Colombian international is actively pushing for a move away when the transfer window open, with two clubs from Spain and one from Italy said to be interested in taking him on loan.

Eintracht, however, would prefer to keep him until the end of the season at least.

"We are not planning to give him away in the winter," insisted Eintracht board member for sport Markus Krösche in an interview with Bild.

27-year-old Borré was a regular starter last season, but has struggled to find consistent playing time this season, with Randal Kolo Muani currently being ahead of him in the pecking order.
