Nagelsmann reveals Müller has suffered a new injury setback, Neuer remains out

Thomas Müller will not be available for Bayern München's clash with Mainz. As expected, Manuel Neuer remains out.
Bayern München will be without Thoms Müller and Manuel Neuer when they face Mainz in the Bundesliga tomorrow.

After recently making his return to action, Müller has suffered a new injury setback. Neuer, meanwhile, remains sidelined with the shoulder injury that has kept him out for a while.

"Müller's has some irritation in his hip and pelvis again. He won't be able to play tomorrow and is looking doubtful for Tuesday as well. We will likely need to rest him for a week, in order to give him a break," Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann told reporters today.

"Manuel Neuer is still unavailable. We're eyeing up a return next weekend. He will definitely miss the Inter game. Other than Müller, every player who also featured in the Champions League should be fit for tomorrow."
