Eight players from the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga included in Japan's World Cup squad

Bundesliga stars Wataru Endo, Daichi Kamada and Ritsu Doan are among the players included in Japan's World Cup squad.

Japan coach Hajime Moriyasu has today named his 26-man squad for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.

A total of eight players – one third of the squad – are playing in Germany: Maya Yoshida (Schalke 04), Hiroki Ito (Stuttgart), Ko Itakura (Gladbach, currently injured), Wataru Endo (Stuttgart), Ao Tanaka (Fortuna Düsseldorf), Daichi Kamada (Eintracht Frankfurt), Ritsu Doan (Freiburg) and Takuma Asano (Bochum).
