Jonas Hector's future up in the air
FC Köln captain Jonas Hector, who is out of contract in the summer, is not expected to make a decision on his future before the end of the season.
Having spent his entire professional career at FC Köln, Jonas Hector is out of contract in the summer of 2023.
A decision on whether the 32-year-old captain will sign a new deal or not "will probably not be made before the end of the season," according to Köln coach Steffen Baumgart.
Per Bild, the 32-year-old has indicated to responsible at the club that he's considering ending his career. The Bundesliga club, however, hope that he will keep playing.
According to Kicker, Köln face competition from a number of clubs from the American Major League Soccer, who have made offers to Hector.
