Multiple reports: Gladbach agree personal terms with potential Sommer replacement

Several reports claim that Gladbach have agreed personal terms with Jonas Omlin. The 29-year-old could replace Yann Sommer if the veteran moves to Bayern Munich.
Borussia Mönchengladbach have agreed personal terms with Montpellier goalkeeper Jonas Omlin, according to Blick and Sky Germany.

The goalkeeper is understood to be ready to join Gladbach on a deal until 2027, and it's now up to the clubs to find an agreement, with a €8-10 million fee being discussed.

Omlin is Gladbach's preferred candidate to replace Yann Sommer, who is being heavily linked with Bayern Munich.

According to Bild, Gladbach have promised Bayern that if Omlin makes the switch to Borussia-Park, they will accept an offer of €8 million plus €1 million in add-ons for Yann Sommer.

Montpellier put €6 million on the table to sign Omlin from FC Basel in 2020.
