Mavropanos remains behind as Stuttgart travel to Leipzig

The "Stuttgarter Nachrichten" reports that Konstantinos Mavropanos has not travelled along with his team to Saxony ahead of the coming encounter against Leipzig.

At a Thursday media round, Stuttgart trainer Bruno Labbadia expressed hope that the Greek centerback might be able to recover in time for upcoming fixture. Labbadia nevertheless also remarked that Mavropanos was having some vision issues after suffering an eye laceration in Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Hoffenheim; which he finished playing in a bloodied turban.
